There are 7 Components of Fitness. They are:

 

 

Health Related Fitness (HRF):

 

Aerobic Endurance: Aerobic Endurance is the ability to excersize the whole body for a long period of time. 

 

(Muscular) Strength: Muscular Strength is the amount of force a muscle can hold against a resistance.

 

Muscular Endurance: Muscular Endurance is the ability to use the chosen many times without getting tired.

 

Body Composition: Body Composition is the percentage of body weight that is muscle, fat or bone.

 

Flexibility: Flexibility is the range of movement possible at a joint. 

 

 

Skill Related Fitness (SRF):

 

Power: Power is the ability to do strength performances in the fastest time possible. ( Power = Strength x Speed)

 

Speed: Speed is the rate of which and individual is able to cover a distance/movement in a period of time.
